Answer: South African Oranges
Question: What is the fruit that you can get at your local Winn Dixie in the heart of Palm Beach?
Day 2 -Timeshare Interrogation
As Woody Allen, said in his infamous quote "There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman? Woody Allen." well, do a global replace and drop in " an hour and a half with a Time share Salesman". We did. 3 days later and after multiple beatings and a day in "the hole" we were released, unscathed with wallets in hand. Oh by the way, all of our information and disclosures on "time shares" are subject to the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.On to Sailfish Marina, where we honored Jose Cuervo and bowed to the sun as we envisioned 4 weeks of Platinum lifestyle in Palm Beach, Aspen, Park City and Aruba, then we woke up.
Off to CityPlace, of the Palm Beaches. A wonderful cornucopia of shops, restaurants, movie theaters, IMPROV and plastic surgery centers. We strolled the brick lined streets, admiring the work of the plastic surgeons and taking in the upbeat music of Taylor Swift and Jason Mraz sound-alikes. We stopped into IL BELLAGIO, (Italian again, do you get the drift?), had anti-pasto, pizza and conversations of of our 401V and college tuition. Such a juxtaposition to face at this tender time in life.
Day 1 - Flight of Fantasy
"Gather the bags, I'll get the car", snapped Pegalino. Franco with that "look" -- OK, once again, I will do the man's job and gather all of the "stuff" you brought and schlep it to the car while you "fill-out the paper work".
The minivan was quite exceptional. A KIA. So we had a 50/50 chance of getting there and a 25% of getting there safe, but since Pegalino forgot to add Franco to the "allowed driver" list, Pegalino increased our chances of getting there safe to 95%. Sorry Franco, but there are too many "gates" to go through and we don't want another "Sienna".
Marriott's Ocean Pointe
"Nice job", Tomba said to Franco, as they exited the Marriott's Ocean Pointe reception area. You see, Franco, has this ability to "get what he wants", even if it is totally by accident. Rewind. "Hi I am Francesco Salvatore, and we have a reservation for 2 suites.". "Thank you", Heraldo said, "You are in the KingFish." Franco retorted, "I am the King Fish, so can you get us an upgrade to Ocean Front?" Heraldo responded, "Well Ocean Front" is reserved for only the "best owners" and can only be arranged in advance." Franco turned and pointed to Tomba and said, "He is with me." Heraldo, said "O mighty Tomba, of Tomba Tours, your wish is my command." -- and we got 2 Ocean Front adjoining rooms.De-pak -- I mean Un-pak, we did and then scurried off to Max and Eddie's for a "fantastic" Italian dinner.
Onward the journey continues......
